The MSC-1 Sense Core is a compact in-hive sensor hub that measures temperature, humidity and sound, and detects swarm preparation, in real time. Its data appears as charts, trends and alerts on the Meliovate platform.

What does the MSC-1 measure?
Internal and external temperature (-20 °C to +60 °C), humidity (±2 % RH) and hive sound with a MEMS microphone (20 Hz to 20 kHz), which the platform analyses for signs of swarming, queenlessness and stress.
How often does it send data?
The planned refresh cycle is real time, with a one-minute interval, over WiFi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0.
How is it powered and protected?
It is planned with 5 V USB-C or solar power, a UV-resistant food-grade ABS housing and IP55 protection.
Is the MSC-1 available?
The MSC-1 is in active development. Registered users receive the launch date and the pre-order option first.
