Why measure the weather at the apiary?
The regional forecast does not show what happens at your own bees. Local data lets the platform adjust the MSM-1 stimulation schedule before wind, rain or cold fronts, and warn you of frost, storms or long rain.
What does the MWM-1 measure?
Temperature (±0.3 °C), humidity (±2 % RH), precipitation (0.2 mm per tip), wind speed (0 to 60 m/s) and barometric pressure (300 to 1100 hPa).
How is it powered?
It is planned with solar power and a battery, WiFi 2.4 GHz connectivity and IP65 protection.
Is the MWM-1 available?
The MWM-1 is in the design phase. Registered users receive the launch date and the pre-order option first.
